Do you remember the difference between "myth" and "legend"?
Go to the following website: http://www.theemeraldisle.org/irish-myths-legends/ and write a short definition in your group notebook.
ACTIVITY 5
Every member of the team must read two myths or legends from the page http://www.theemeraldisle.org/irish-myths-legends/ .
Tell the other members of your team the stories you have read. Every member writes a short summary about one story. After that, decide which myth or legend you like best.
Choose only ONE per group and rewrite the story USING YOUR OWN WORDS. Add this story to your myths notebook.
Only one group in the class can write about this myth or legend.
You can also turn it into a comic on an A3.
YOU AND YOUR TEAMMATES WILL ALSO PRESENT IT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER TEAMS.
ACTIVITY 6
Choose your favourite mythical character (unicorn, dragon, etc.) and say why it is your favourite and what other stories you have heard in which this character appeared. Draw the chosen mythical character on your Group Notebook.
